Scooters Inc. opened on August 10, 2007 in Carrboro, NC. Owner Dave Jansen also owns Combustion Cycles, a motorcycle and scooter dealership in Durham.
Dave, a Chapel Hill resident, graduated from Chapel Hill High and U.N.C. A former chemist, Dave has a solid reputation as a power sports mechanic. Dave is known both locally and regionally for selling and servicing many brands of scooters and cycles, including Vespa, SYM, Honda, Hyosung, and Yamaha.
